日本原裝織物密度尺用於測量織物類的經緯紗支數，能正確測量織物密度或織斑的光學應用測定器。不需再用放大鏡(密度鏡)手動數，只要將織物密度尺放在織物上，觀測自動顯現的波紋即可得知1英吋或1公分內有多少根紗支，測試精準。
This glass piece is used for examining “Density” of Cloth or Knitted goods and simplicity of handling and accuracy of the data are peculiar excellences which couldn’t be found in any other instruments of this kinds.
It is a method of old fashioned to count up one by one the picking threads of cloth with the help of magnifying glass, but with this Densimeter, you can find “Density” of cloth or knitted goods simply at a glance.
When Densimeter is put on a test piece which should be unfolded on flat table symmetrical stripes which are caused dut to optical interference can be found, and axis of the symmertrical stripes shows “Density” of the test piece namely number of Threads per unit length such as inch, centimeter and etc……
If the above mentioned process may be repeated at several places of the Testing Cloth, you may easily check up the uniformity of weaving also.
